This FO smells AMAZING! Both OOB & in my soap!! Idk what the original Pink Sugar smells like, but this is DELIGHTFUL! Sweet (but not TOO sweet), clean, soft enveloping… If sugary candy, soft florals & a designer perfume had a baby together, this would be that scent! This FO really appealed to me because of the little to no discoloration factor. It behaved like a dream in my CP recipe, but sadly, it still discolored my soaps. Not a brown discoloration, but the deep pink micas I used all turned dark copper-orange. That’s the ONLY reason I gave this beautiful FO 4 stars… I had my heart set on a pink soap to go with the pink sugar theme. This smells SO LOVELY though, I will happily use it in other applications and would still recommend it! Perhaps in MP the copper-orange discoloration won’t be as severe or noticeable, so I’ll try it in that next! I did add a little sugar to my CP recipe, so it’s possible that played a role in why it discolored so dark too. Either way, I’m not giving up on this gorgeous scent yet!

I have to update my previous review because I spoke too soon!! When first unmolded & cut, my CP soap had discolored to a coppery/rust-orange color… Now that the soaps have sat in my curing room, the pink shades of the micas I used are RETURNING!!! I’ve never seen a FO do this before, but my orange soaps are now pink again, as originally intended! So I would say that “little to no discoloration” with this FO is correct, and if you find that your mica colors have temporarily morphed, give your soaps a few days of cure- it’s very likely those colors will bounce right back! I’m SO IMPRESSED with this FO! Not only are my soaps pink again, but they still smell WONDERFUL! Kudos on a beautiful FO Bescented!!

This is not may favorite smell. Overall, in finished CP soap the scent is very light and powdery. Soaps without issues just not for me.
