Colorless prismatic crystals derived from steam distilled peppermint oil. They give a fresh, cool and tingling sensation to lotions, creams, ointments and balms. Menthol crystals disolve in oil and alcohol bases only.

I have used this in lip balm up to 1.5%. I do not recommend using over 2%.
